The Prosecution Division of the Bureau of Commission, Elections and Legislation is conducting random spot checks of notary registers.
Make sure that you keep a register and that the register is in proper form. The law requires a permanent record in a firmly bound book of every document notarized.
If you do not currently use a notary public register or if the one you have is not in proper form your Notary Commission could be revoked and you could be subjected to a fine!
